FAQ: Latest App Updates (Vent 1.9)
In recent weeks, we’ve made a number of changes and improvements to our app. These include multi-coin support (BTC, USDT and Solana to Naira), multi-bank account (add and manage up to 4 BVN-linked bank accounts), an improved user interface, bug fixes and other minor improvements. In this post, we’ll be providing responses to some of the frequently asked questions about the latest updates.

Why can’t I access the app on my iPhone?
Experiencing any issues updating/downloading our mobile app on iOS? This may be because your iCloud is set to a location other than Nigeria. But not to worry, you can still access our world-class services through the web app. Simply visit https://dashboard.vent.africa/ to access your Vent account on any device. For easy access, install/bookmark the web App on your home screen or desktop. For more information, check out this post about the web app.
How do I set my Default Bank Account?
You can add multiple bank accounts to your Bank Information on Vent Africa and set a default account. First, ensure that your Vent app is up to date, then follow these steps:
- Log in to the app and open the profile tab.
- Click on ‘bank account information.’
- Turn on the default switch next to the account you want to set as default.

How do I change my Email Address?
Kindly note that your Email address and phone number cannot be changed after sign-up and verification.
How can I redeem my transactions?
Our platform is built to watch your wallet address for any incoming bitcoin deposit. However, in some cases, the exchange you’re sending from may not broadcast the transaction well enough in the blockchain for our infrastructure to pick it up. Most of the times, this is an issue with services like bitcoin ATM. In such a situation, our platform will miss the transaction and you’re required to use the Redeem Feature to query for such missing transactions.
Follow these steps to redeem a transaction:
- Log into your Vent account.
- On the home page, click ‘Support.’
- Click on ‘Get Started’ under redeem transaction
- Select ‘Bitcoin wallet’ as the crypto currency.
- Paste your wallet address and your transaction Hash ID.
- Click on ‘Redeem Transaction.’
